1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We collect several types of information to provide and improve our Services:
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect:

1.2 Voice Data (AI Companion)
When you use our AI companion's voice interaction feature, we collect:
- Voice recordings: Audio captured when you activate the voice feature (via hotkey)
- Transcriptions: Text conversions of your voice input
- Voice interaction metadata: Timestamps, duration, and frequency of voice interactions
Important: Voice recording only occurs when you actively trigger it via the designated hotkey. We do not passively record audio or listen in the background.
1.3 Game Data
To provide contextual AI companion experiences, we may access and process:
- In-game events and state information
- Character positions, inventory, and progress
- Game session duration and activity patterns
- Screenshots or visual data (only when you request texture analysis or generation)
This data is used solely to enhance your companion experience and is not shared with game publishers or other third parties.
1.4 AI Companion Memory
Your AI companion maintains memory to provide personalized interactions, including:
- Conversation history and context
- Your stated preferences and interests
- Previous requests and interactions
- In-game events the companion has "witnessed"
1.5 Generated Content & Assets
We collect and store:
- Text prompts used to generate textures and schematics
- Generated textures, schematics, and other assets
- Asset metadata (creation date, associated game, quality tier)
- Storage usage information
1.6 Payment Information
When you make a purchase, our payment processor collects payment details (credit card number, billing address). OSU AI does not directly store full payment card information. We retain transaction records including purchase date, amount, subscription tier, and payment confirmation.
1.7 Device & Technical Data
We automatically collect:
- Device type, operating system, and version
- Hardware specifications (GPU, RAM) for compatibility
- IP address and approximate location (city/region level)
- Application version and update history
- Error logs and crash reports
- Usage analytics (features used, session duration)
1.8 Private Server Data
For private server hosting (e.g., Minecraft), we store:
- Server configuration and settings
- World/map data and player builds
- Player activity logs
- Chat logs (for moderation purposes)
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

3. AI TRAINING & YOUR DATA
3.1 How We Use Data for AI Training
We may use anonymized and aggregated data from user interactions to improve our AI models, including texture generation quality, schematic accuracy, and companion responsiveness. This data is stripped of personally identifiable information before use in training.
3.2 Opt-Out of AI Training
You may opt out of having your data used for AI training purposes by adjusting your privacy settings in the application or by contacting us at privacy@osu.ai. Opting out will not affect your ability to use the Services, though it may limit certain personalization features.
3.3 Voice Data
Voice recordings are processed for transcription and companion response generation. By default, voice data is deleted after processing. If you opt in to help improve our voice recognition, anonymized voice samples may be retained for up to 90 days for quality improvement purposes.
4. DATA SHARING & DISCLOSURE
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:
4.1 Service Providers
We share data with third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf, including cloud hosting providers, payment processors, analytics services, and customer support platforms. These providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
4.2 Legal Requirements
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests (e.g., subpoenas, court orders, or government regulations).
4.3 Safety & Rights Protection

6.4 Companion Memory Management
You can view, edit, or delete your AI companion's memory at any time through the application settings. You may also request a complete memory wipe.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in our emails or adjusting your notification settings.
6.6 Do Not Track
Our Services do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

7. DATA SECURITY
